Age 92 of Rockford, passed away June 19th at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 4 to 8 PM at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano. Further visitation at the church on Thursday, 1 hour prior to the Mass. Mass of Christian Burial for George “Smokey” Sawatzke will be held Thursday, June 27th at 11 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church of Corcoran. Interment will be at the St. Thomas Cemetery in Corcoran. Arrangements were made with the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
