A GoFundMe benefit account has been established in memory of a Dassel teen who died in a car crash this past Sunday in neighboring Meeker County.
19-year-old Nolan Henke was a passenger in a vehicle that ran off the road at the intersection of Meeker County Road 6 and 746th Avenue around 3 AM Sunday. The vehicle struck a telephone pole, and Nolan died at the scene.
Friends of the family say that Nolan was known for his generosity, bright smile and passion for mechanics. He is said to have always the first to lend a helping hand.
Nolan Henke was a 2025 graduate of Dassel-Cokato High School, and was a member of the D-C football team.
The GoFundMe account is intended to help family members with funeral expenses and establishing a memorial fund.
