HHW Facility Accepting Old, Unused Christmas Lights for Recycling

If you’ve been decorating for the holidays and have come across some non-working or unwanted strings of holiday lights, Wright County officials hope that you’ll recycle them and keep them out of the waste stream.

There are two options for county residents. The Wright County Household Hazardous Waste Facility has placed a box for the free disposal of unwanted and unused Christmas lights at the Wright County Planning & Zoning Office front counter in the Wright County Government Center. Lights will also be accepted at the temporary HHW location at the Maple Lake county shop at 5538 85th Street NW in Maple Lake.

Other organizations and clubs also accept unwanted Christmas lights for free recycling around Wright County.
