The work on Highway 12 in Howard Lake continues.
The work zone remains open with one lane in each direction through Howard Lake. Drivers should expect narrow lanes, lane shifts, gravel surfaces and flaggers directing traffic through late July.
In May, crews replaced all the underground structures beneath the road. Current work includes milling off old layers of road surface to prepare for a brand new surface. Other work includes new sidewalks, utilities and drainage.
Howard Lake is open during the road work. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained, however, expect use of alternate entrances or side streets, including sidewalk detours.
