Investigation Continues Into Dayton Mobile Home Park Fire

The investigation continues into the cause of a huge fire Monday morning at a mobile home park in the community of Dayton.

Officials say Dayton firefighters were first called to the fire at the Dayton Park Mobile Home Community shortly after 9:30 AM Monday.

Information from numerous sources indicates that as many as 12 fire departments from the region assisted in battling the blaze. Officials indicated that the fire was difficult to fight because of having to rely on tanker trucks to be the main source of water.

Four residences were heavily damaged in the blaze, though no injuries to any residents were reported. One firefighter was treated for injuries resulting from an electric shock while on the fire scene.
