A Celebration of Life will be held today for a Buffalo man who was a noted Biblical scholar, lecturer, professor, writer and pastor.
Dr. Oliver Blosser passed away July 24th at the age of 82.
Dr. Blosser grew up on a family farm in Lancaster, Ohio, and graduated from Lancaster.
He followed a calling to pursue an education in theology. He earned his Master of Divinity Degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, and later completed a Masters Degree in Hebrew and a Ph. D. in Hebrew at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr. Blosser loved teaching, and lead eleven tours to the Holy Land.
He is survived locally by his wife of 53 years, Mary, and their family. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Samaritan’s Purse.
