A bridge over County Road 6 in the City of Howard Lake damaged one final semi truck for 2024 on Tuesday morning.
Around 9:30 AM on New Year’s Eve, a northbound semi struck the underpass bridge in Howard Lake, damaging the rig’s trailer.
No injuries were reported.
The bridge has been the sight of many similar crashes where drivers either aren’t aware of, or forget to check the clearance to pass underneath. Other similar incidents happened earlier in 2024, as well as previous years.
