The Minnesota Department of Ag is giving out funding to twenty-nine farmers’ markets across the state.

“We are at just about 400 farmers markets across the state. Between higher food costs at the grocery store, tariffs on imports I think more folks are looking to keep their dollars in the local economy as much as possible.”
The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Assistance program is supported by one-time state legislative funding.
