Memorial services are planned for today (Thursday) for a lifelong Buffalo area resident and noted banking and insurance official.
Janice Marschel passed away August 23rd at the age of 78.
Janice was a 1964 graduate of Buffalo High School. During her high school years, she began a long banking career at the Buffalo National Bank. She would go on to become a co-owner of the Buffalo National Insurance Agency. After the company was sold to Wells Fargo, Janice joined Country Financial. She wrapped up her career in banking and insurance after 42 years, but continued staying busy by working as a cashier at Target in Buffalo beginning in 2019.
Janice was an active member in many capacities at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Buffalo where her memorial services will be held today.
