The annual American Farm Bureau Federation convention takes place beginning this weekend in California.
Minnesota Farm Bureau President Dan Glessing of Waverly will head-up the Minnesota delegation in attendance. He says the delegation will be made up of a wide range of ages and backgrounds…
“Several of our young farmers, there’s three competition contest winners from Minnesota that will compete nationally in the Excellence in Ag, the Achievement Award and the Discussion Meets. We’re super excited and proud of those members going out to represent Minnesota. We also have our federation award winners, and so those folks get a free trip to the annual convention as well, just kinda to see what it’s all about. And then our board staff and members are also heading out just to take it all in and try to learn some things and bring it back here and try and make our organization and agriculture as good as it can be.”
The American Farm Bureau Federation Convention will continue through Wednesday in Anaheim, California.
