MnDOT Reminds Motorists: Harvest Time Right Around the Corner

Harvest season is set to get underway soon in Minnesota, and MnDOT is asking motorists and farm equipment operators to safely share the road…

We want to prevent any crash from happening and unfortunately there have been several incidents in recent years. From 2022 through 2024, there were 455 crashes involving farm equipment in the state of Minnesota alone, resulting in eight deaths and 180 injuries.”

MnDOT Spokeswoman Anne Meyer says motorists should slow down and watch for farm equipment, use caution, and watch for debris on the roadway.
