The public is invited to join the Wright County Parks Department for an evening of cross-country ski fun this Saturday evening at the Robert Ney County Park near Maple Lake. The event was scheduled for last Saturday, January 24th, but was postponed due to dangerously cold temperatures.
The trails will be groomed and lit to help guide you through the winter wonderland of Ney Park. Inside the Nature Center, there will be sweet treats and warm drinks to enjoy, and an outdoor fireside seating area.
The lantern ski event is free and open to all ages, and will run from 6 to 9 PM. Rental skis and poles will be available for $5 for those who don’t have their own equipment.
