No one was injured when a car rear-ended a pickup pulling a cement mixing machine on a trailer Wednesday afternoon in Montrose. The crash happened on Wright County Road 12, near the intersection with Charity Lane, directly in front of Jacque B’s.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office reports that around 3:20 PM, the northbound Ford Fusion driven by 46-year-old Melissa Olson of Cokato, rear-ended the trailer pulled by the Ford F-250 pickup, driven by 46-year-old Lawrence Paumen of Howard Lake.
Eyewitnesses said there was significant damage to the passenger car, but both drivers escaped injury.
The Montrose Fire and Rescue and Ridgeview Ambulance assisted the Wright County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
