One person was injured when a passenger car collided with a semi on slippery roads Saturday night in neighboring Stearns County.
The State Patrol reports that shortly after 9 PM, a Mitsubishi Eclipse and a Peterbilt semi were both eastbound on I-94 in Lynden Township in Stearns County when the vehicles collided.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, 19-year-old Malikai Degroat of St. Michael was not injured, but a one of three passengers in his vehicle, a 16-year-old female from St. Michael, who was not identified, had non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the St. Cloud Hospital.
The other two passengers in the Mitsubishi, a 17-year-old female from Buffalo, and a 17-year-old male from St. Michael were not injured.
The driver of the semi, a 56-year-old man from Winnipeg, Manitoba, was not injured.
The Clearwater Fire Department and the Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
