A passenger was injured when two vehicles collided on an off-ramp in Elk River late Wednesday morning.
The State Patrol says the crash happened around 11:45 AM on Highway 169 at the County Road 33 off-ramp.
Officials say a Jeep Grand Cherokee was northbound on the off-ramp when it was rear-ended by an Audi passenger car at the top of the ramp.
Injured in the crash was a passenger in the Jeep SUV, 65-year-old Marie Cook of Oak Grove, who was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. The driver of the Jeep, 60-year-old Paul Cook, also of Oak Grove, was not injured.
The driver of the Audi sedan, 25-year-old Lauren Ives of Elk River, was not injured.
The Elk River Fire Department and Ambulance, and the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office assisted State Troopers at the scene.
