One person was injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle traffic crash near the community of Dassel.
The State Patrol reports that around 1:15 PM, two vehicles, a Volkswagen Tiguan SUV that was southbound on Highway 15 and a Ford F-150 pickup that was northbound collided at the intersection with U-S Highway 12.
The driver of the SUV, 59-year-old William Blaisdell of Dassel was not injured. The driver of the pickup, 27-year-old Bondi Onassa of Olathe, Kansas, and one of two passengers, a 22-year-old man from Gardner, Kansas also avoided injury. A second passenger in the truck, 54-year-old Mahogany Morrison of Redwood Falls, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the Hutchinson Hospital.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Dassel Fire Department and Mayo EMS assisted at the crash scene.
