The 154th Wright County Fair officially begins its five-day run today.
For thousands of people from throughout the area, the annual fair is one of the biggest events of the summer.
Events of the day today at the Wright County Fair include the judging of a number of 4-H exhibits, a 4-H horse show, the opening of the midway, the Jurassic Kingdom Dinosaur Show, and “Benjamin Raye and the Empire Players” provides music and fun in the entertainment tent this evening beginning at 6 PM.
Tonight in the grandstand it’s the MotoKazie Supercross show.
Many events run throughout the fair including the All-American Lumberjack Show, Firefighter Training Show, the Ninja Experience, the FFA Agricultural Learning Center, the exotic animal zoo, bingo, and great displays at machinery hill.
