Work crews put in some high priority hours this week on repairs on Wright County State Aid Highway 30 after a culvert failure last Sunday forced the closure of the roadway between County Roads 6 and 8 in Victor Township.
A 48-inch replacement culvert was obtained on Monday, and the replacement of some 74 feet of material began. Crews worked to switch the water flow to the new culvert, then started the back-filling process. Officials expected the re-paving work to be completed by midday on Thursday.
