Baseball.

Delano 12, Edison 3. Grant, and Andrew Bruett combined to go 5-7 with 4 RBIs with each adding a double in the Tigers win.

The Tigers baseball team, above, is off to an undefeated start to the 25 Spring Sports season.

Monticello 4, Becker 1. Adam Brenny went 2-3 at the plate with 2 RBIs, and Carson Deibele pitched five shutout innings, striking out seven for the Magic.

Howard Lake WW 3, Jordan 1.

STMA 6, Edina 5.

Minnetonka 8, Buffalo 4. Riley West drove in two in the loss.

Softball.

Norwood YA 9, Maple Lake 6.

Kimball 6, Dassel-Cokato 2.

Delano 3, North St. Paul 2. The Tigers scored two in the top of the 7th too escape the Polars on Friday,

Becker 3, Monticello 1.

Rogers 22, Buffalo 0. The Royals scored 12 runs in the first inning and also held the Bison without a hit in the win.

Girls Lacrosse.

Cretin DH 11, Buffalo 8. Daneka Eng netted five goals and added an assist for the Bison in the loss.

Boys Lacrosse.

Buffalo 14, Delano 10. Blake Beckman scored five goals in the Bison win.

Delano, in white, and Buffalo in black, above, went head-to-head in boys’ lacrosse on Friday night.

Saturday, April 12th.

Boys Lacrosse.

Cretin DH 11, Buffalo 5. Owen Lange scored two goals land added two assists for Buffalo.

Eagan 9, Monticello 4.

Mounds View 10, STMA 6.

Girls Lacrosse.

Moorhead 12, Monticello 6.

Addison Kiphuth, above, went over 150 points for Monticello in her career on Friday night against Moorhead. 

Monday, April 14th.

Girls Lacrosse.

Delano 14, Mound 5. Addilyn Dietman scored four goals and added two assists for the Tigers.

Buffalo 19, Monticello 2. Hattie Touissaint scored four goals, while Jasmine Jorgenson, and Hannah Rosso scored three each in the Bison blowout win over their rivals from Monti.

STMA 19, Sartell 0.

Boys Lacrosse.

Delano 18, Mound 1.

Softball.

STMA 7, Edina 4, Kendra Behrens doubled, drove in two and picked up the win for the Knights on Monday.

Rockford 8, Annandale 5.

Minnetonka 14, Buffalo 2.

Dassel-Cokato 7, Litchfield 3.

Baseball.

Rockford 13, Annandale 2. The Rockets scored eight runs in the first two innings and breezed past the Cards on Monday. At the plate, William Haas went 2-3 with a home run and two RBIs, and Patrick Binnebose, went 3-4 with a home run and two RBIs for Rockford.

Glencoe SL 6, Howard Lake WW 5.

Dassel-Cokato 8, Litchfield 5.

Boys Golf.

Russel Ylitalo shot a low round of 70 as the Buffalo Bison won the Monticello invite, while STMA finished second with Quin Opiola finishing second overall as well for the Knights.

Adapted Softball.

Buffalo/Monticello/STMA 16, Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper 0. The Coyotes smashed four home runs in their dominant road win on Monday. AJ Joseph went three for four at the plate with 3 triples, and a home run. Matthew Centko, Jacob Centko and Brody Hochstedler also homered for the Coyotes, with Jacob Centko picking up the shutout win.

Tuesday, April 15th.

Boys Lacrosse.

Buffalo 5, Monticello 3. William Webber netted a hat trick and Gavin Lindell stopped 18 of 21 shots in the Bison win.

Baseball.

Howard Lake WW 12, Maple Lake 2. Sam Stutsman hit three of the five Lakers doubles and also drove in three runs as the Lakers pounded the Irish on Tuesday. Owen Loge went the distance, striking out 13 for the HLWW.

Monticello 4, Princeton 0. Carson Deibele picked up the win on the mound for the Magic, striking out eight along the way.

Delano 10, Dassel-Cokato 5.

Softball.

Delano 13, Mound 3. Mound scored the first three runs of the game, but the Tigers scored the last thirteen! Sydney Connor went 3-4 with a home run and three RBIs for Delano.

Sydney Connor, above #5, is only a freshman and had a breakout game on Tuesday for Delano.

Southwest Christian 6, Dassel-Cokato 4. The Stars rallied from a 3-0 deficit to come back and beat the Chargers behind Kam Johnson who hit a two run double to give SWC the lead for good.

Howard Lake WW 10, Maple Lake 0.

Becker 6, Annandale 5.

Princeton 12, Monticello 2.

Wed, April 16th.

Softball.

Orono 5, Monticello 4. Maggie Benton hit a solo home run, and Paige Flanagan hit a two run double for Monti, but the Spartans got the win over the Magic on Wed.

St. Cloud 12, Buffalo 3. The Crush crushed 19 hits and blew past the Bison on Wed at Buffalo. Kenley Bechtold went 2-4 with an RBI for the Bison.

Minnetonka 6, STMA 3. Callan Wagner hit a home run for STMA, but the Skippers upset the #8AAAA Knights on Wed.

Baseball.

Buffalo 7, Maple Grove 2. Nolan Mullenbach hit a two run double to give the Bison an early 3-0 lead, and Buffalo cruised from there to upset the #7AAAA Crimson on the road Wed.

Big Lake 6, Monticello 5. The Hornets scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth to walk off the Magic on Wed.

STMA 4, Minnetonka 3.

Girls Lacrosse.

Buffalo 20, Eden Prairie 4. Haddie Toussaint (6) and Adellita Nelson (4) combined for ten goals in the Bison home win.

Track and Field.

The Monticello girls track, and field team continue to roll as the “Flying Hawaiians” won the 400 and 800 relay and finished first at their track meet on Wed.

Thursday, April 17th.

Boys Lacrosse.

Eden Prairie 11, Buffalo 4. Last year the Bison upset #5 Eden Prairie, but this year the Eagles got their revenge with a road win over Buffalo.

Minnetonka 15, STMA 6.

Girls Lacrosse.

Chaska 6, Delano 5 in overtime.

Baseball.

Norwood Young America handed #1AA Rockford their first loss of the season 1-0, before the Rockets rebounded to win the second game of the double header, 2-0.

Annandale swept Howard Lake WW at home, 5-1, and 6-1.

Watertown Mayer 5, Dassel-Cokato 4.

Delano 3, Mound 0. The Tigers remained undefeated at 5-0 with the shutout win.

Softball.

Rockford swept Norwood Young America, 16-8 and 13-0.

Annandale after starting the year 0-3, picked up two big wins over Howard Lake WW, 5-1, and 11-1.

Buffalo 13, Moorhead 8.

Friday, April 18th.

Girls Lacrosse.

Buffalo 13, Moorhead 6. Hattie Toussaint(5) and Bailey Mischke(4) combined for nine goals in the Bison win over the Spuds.

Baseball.

Sartell 14, Buffalo 4.

Saturday, April 19th.

Boys Lacrosse.

STMA 7, Providence 5. Carter Wigfield and Caleb Grabowski each scored two goals in the Knights win.

Buffalo 10, Chanhassen 5. Coy Meyer scored three goals and added four assist in the Bison romp.

Softball.

Rockford went 2-1 at the Mankato Tournament, defeating Apple Valley, 7-6, and St. Peter 2-1. Their only loss was to Chisago Lakes, 4-3.
