Officials with MNsure remind state residents that you still have time in the second-chance sign-up to apply for 2026 health coverage.
While the first enrollment deadline has passed, consumers can still go the the MNsure website to find a plan and sign up for that coverage to start on February 1st.
The second-chance open enrollment sign-up is open through January 15th. After that date, Minnesotans would need a major life change such as moving, getting married, or having a baby to enroll in health insurance through MNsure.
The MNsure Contact Center will be open this week, and will be open later until 6 PM on January 8th. The service hours on Saturday, January 10th are 9 AM to 2 PM, and January 12th through the 15th, the contact center will be open 8 AM to 8 PM. The number to call is 1-855-366-7873.
The January 15th deadline does not apply to Minnesotans who qualify for Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare, or members of federally recognized tribes, who can sign up through MNsure at any time of the year.
