State Senator Eric Lucero, Republican of St. Michael, has announced that he will run for re-election in Minnesota Senate District 30 next year.
Lucero was first elected to the State Senate in 2022 to represent the communities of Albertville, Elk River, Hanover, Nowthen, Otsego, Rockford Township, St. Michael, and western Oak Grove.
Lucero says if re-elected, he hopes to continue to be a leading voice on a number of issues including stopping fraud, increasing transparency and accountability within government, cutting taxes and reducing government spending and mandates. He says another priority would be to “…fix the broken education funding formula.”
The senator first served in the Minnesota House from 2015 until he was sworn into the MN Senate in 2023.
