Annual Spring Clean-Up events continue this weekend in and around Wright County.
In Howard Lake, the annual City Clean-Up begins today (Friday) from 1 to 7 PM, and will continue on Saturday from 8 AM to 12 noon. Disposal fees will be based on the items brought in. Residents should note that this is a cash-only event.
Saturday clean-ups include the City of Cokato at the Public Works Garage from 9 AM to noon, the City of Greenfield at the Greenfield City Hall from 8 AM to 12 noon, Monticello Township at the Township Hall from 7 AM to 12 noon, the City of Otsego at the City Hall from 8 AM to 12 noon, and the City of Rockford at the Public Works Site from 8 AM to 12 noon. Rockford residents are also encouraged to bring in items for the RiverWorks Food Shelf.
More spring clean-ups are scheduled for later in May at various locations around Wright County. Check with your city or township officials if you have questions regarding spring clean-ups.
