February has been anything but average as far as the weather is concerned, and according to forecasters, the very mild weather that we’ve been experiencing this week will continue at least through Friday, with high temps in the 30s up north to the low 50s in southwestern Minnesota…
“Widespread highs in the 50s but it looks breezy Friday for those 50s. But lots of 50 across southern Minnesota Friday before a cold front sends us back closer to reality closer to reality Friday night.”
Mike Griesinger with the National Weather Service says temperatures can really warm up quickly this time of year in areas where there’s no snow on the ground.
