The Minnesota State Patrol is continuing its investigation into a fatal motorcycle vs. pickup truck crash late Monday near Becker.
Authorities say Sherburne County Deputies were attempting to stop a motorcycle for a traffic violation around 11:20 PM Monday when the cyclist crashed into a pickup that was eastbound on Highway 10 near 165th Avenue in Becker Township.
Officials say the motorcyclist died as a result of the crash. That person’s name, as well as the name of the Minneapolis man who was driving the pickup will be released after family members have been notified.
The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, the Becker Police and Fire Departments, the Big Lake Police, and CentraCare Ambulance assisted the State Patrol.
