Though it may seem like we just came out of an election cycle, officials with Wright County Elections reminds township residents that the filing window is now open for the March 11th township elections.
Interested candidates should visit their township hall to submit their candidate affidavit. New for 2025 is a requirement to show identification or other proof of residency within the township when filing for office to confirm eligibility.
Candidate filing for the March 11 township elections is now open through Tuesday, Jan. 14. Candidates who file, but then change their mind, have until Thursday, January 16th to withdraw their affidavit.
