Two Wright County residents were injured on Sunday in a two-vehicle traffic crash in the City of Hibbing.
The State Patrol reports that around 11:20 AM Sunday, a GMC Terrain SUV was westbound on South Townline Road when it collided with a Chevy Equinox SUV that was southbound on Highway 73.
Injured in the crash was the driver of the Chevrolet, 35-year-old Meaghan Wagner of Delano, and a 6-year-old female passenger, also from Delano. Both sustained non-life threatening injuries and were treated at the Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing.
The driver of the GMC vehicle, 36-year-old Andrew Hanson of Vadnais Heights, had minor injuries that did not require hospital treatment.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, and the Hibbing Police and Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
