The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a two vehicle crash occurred Thursday evening in Elk River.
26-year-old Hannah Ruth Kraemer of Otsego was reaching the bottom of the 169 off ramp at Main Street in a 2014 Ford Fusion when her car was rear ended by a 2011 Kia Forte, driven by 49-year-old Bikyeombe Byaene of Otsego.
Kraemer sustained no injuries, while Byaene was taken to Mercy Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Road conditions were reported as wet in the 6:07 PM crash.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. The State Patrol was assisted by the Elk River Fire and Police Departments.
