The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a car vs. ATV crash that left a Watkins man with serious injuries earlier this week.
Authorities say Wednesday evening shortly before 7:30 PM, 61-year-old Daniel Sullivan of Watkins was northbound on Meeker County Road 34 south of Eden Valley in a side-by-side ATV. Officials say the ATV was struck by a car that was also northbound.
Authorities say Daniel Sullivan was seriously injured and was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital. A passenger in the ATV, 61-year-old Janet Sullivan, also from Watkins, was transported to St. Cloud Hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car involved was a 16-year-old who was not identified. The teen was not injured.
