Annandale 81, New London Spicer 54. Colton Purcell scored 30 points, and Ben Walter added 24 as the Cards streaked past the Wildcats on Friday night.

Buffalo 79, Sartell 75. Thomas Jordan led the Bison with 29 points as the Bison pulled out a close non-conference win over the Sabers on Friday.

Rockford 81, Parnassus Prep 47. Ethan Robran was the top scorer on the night for Rockford with 25.

Orono 82, Delano 59. The Spartans led by 21 at the half and cruised from there to defeat the Tigers on Friday.

Wrestling.

STMA won the prestigious Mat Boss Christmas tournament in Rochester with a score of 376, easily winning the tournament! Stillwater was second with a score of 271.5, while Shakopee was third with 233.

Girls Gymnastics.

Delano 133.8, New London Spicer 130.25

Delano, above, prepares for their meet with NLS. The Tigers scored a season high for points in their meet win on Saturday.

Boys Hockey.

Monticello 3, Buffalo 0. The Moose ended an eight-year losing streak to the Bison on Saturday with a shutout victory. Nolan Wurm picked up the shutout with 23 saves, while Collin Barta scored the game winning goal in the first period.

Delano 5, St. Cloud Cathedral 2. Lance Halonen scored two goals in the Tigers win.

STMA 8, Brainerd 1. Braeden Waller picked up a hat trick in the Knights win.

River Lakes 3, Delano 1. Alaina Pettit scored the only Tigers goal in the loss.

Alexandria 55, Monticello 39.

Monday, December 22nd.

Boys Hockey.

STMA 4, Alexandria 3. The Knights jumped out to a 3-0 lead but needed a goal in overtime to stop the Cards rally. Easton Monahan scored the game winner for STMA in the extra session.

Buffalo 5, St. Cloud 1. The Bison gave up the first goal to St. Cloud but scored the next five to pull away with the win. Cooper Dalbec, and Drew Lindquist each scored a goal and added an assist, while Charlie Rosso also had two assists in the Bison win.

Girls Hockey.

Buffalo 4, River Lakes 0. Allie Krueger and Marley Honsey each scored a goal, with an assist, and Tessa Quale picked up the shutout, stopping all 34 shots she faced.

Breck 8, Delano 0. The Mustangs outshot the Tigers, 50-16 in the shutout.

Rogers 4, North Wright County 3. Alexa Larson scored two goals for the River Hawks, but the Royals won it in overtime.

Delano 84, Chaska 61. Abie Pietila (25 points) and Addie Iverson (20) paced the Tigers over the Hawks on Monday night.

Waconia 67, Buffalo 53. Bianna Eggers (22), and Reese Millerbernd (19), combined for 41 of the Bison’s 53 points on Monday night.

Tuesday, December 23rd.

Boys Basketball.

Buffalo 84, Delano 69. Matthew and Thomas Jordan led the Bison to the home win on Tuesday night. Matthew scored 21, while Thomas had 17, but it wasn’t easy against a scrappy Tigers team. Ben Teller, Brody Schultz and Vinny Luccarelli each scored 13 points for Delano.

Monticello 81, Chisago Lakes 38. The Magic outscored the Wildcats 34-8 in the second half and breezed to the victory on Tuesday afternoon. Carson Deibele scored 25 for the Magic, while Rhys Nebben added 20 for Monticello.

Boys Hockey.

Monticello 4, Little Falls 1. Ashton Stoll netted two goals and added an assist in the Moose win.

Delano 8, Litchfield DC 0. Daniel Halonen (2 goals and 1 assist), and Brady Kangas two goals guided the Tigers to the shutout win.
