Girls Hockey.

Buffalo 5, Eden Prairie 2. Savana Sabraski scored two goals, while Linnea Pregschas had a goal and an assist as the Bison went on the road and upset the Eagles on Saturday. Ava Jovan was outstanding in the nets for the Bison, stopping 46 of 48 shots.

Boys Hockey.

St. Cloud Cathedral 2, Monticello 1. The Crusaders scored a goal in overtime to upset #1A Monticello on Saturday. Brady McGriff scored the lone Moose goal.

Minnetonka 7, Buffalo 1. Caden Lindsay had a hat trick and two assists in the Skippers win over Buffalo. Harvey Ylitalo scored the Bison goal.

Girls Hockey.

Delano 3, Simley 2. McKenzie Perry scored two goals, and Savannah Geyen stopped 30 of 32 shots in goals as the Tigers defeated the Spartans in overtime on Monday.

Girls Basketball.

Hastings 51, Buffalo 49. Brianna Eggers (15 points) and Hayley Rohlin (12) combined for 27 of the 49 Bison points.

Boys Basketball.

Buffalo 63, STMA 48. The Bison went on a 24-6 run at the end of the game, and added an exclamation point with a dunk by Mitch Friesz late as the Bison upset #5AAAA STMA at home on Tuesday night. Jordy Sorenson, and Ty Torgrimson both scored 14 for the Bison, while Sophomore center Jack Thelen led the Knights with 22.

Delano 83, Big Lake 46. Four players scored in double figures for the Tigers, led by JJ Longstreet as Delano blew past the Hornets.

Monticello 83, St. Francis 62.

Sauk Centre 67, Annandale 63. Only four players scored for the Cards in a close home loss to the Manistreeters on Tuesday night. Ben Walter (22 points) and Colton Purcell (20) were the top scorers for Annandale.

Norwood YA 68, Howard Lake WW 56. Cody Stapel scored his 1,000-career point, while Alex Stueven led the Lakers with 23, but it wasn’t enough against the Raiders.

Glencoe SL 79, Rockford 65. Landon Busse (25 points) and Ethan Sonju (24) had big games in the Panthers win over the Rockets. Grant Kloss had 25 for Rockford.

Watertown Mayer 68, Dassel-Cokato 62.

Girls Basketball.

STMA 74, Sartell 44. The Knights had three players in double figures (Cail Jahnke 20), Abby Hoselton (14) and Jacey Bryan (10) as the Knights breezed past the Sabers on Tuesday.

Glencoe SL 55, Rockford 41. Seinna Thomas scored 14 points for the Rockets in the loss.

Buffalo 6, Jefferson 1. Harvey Ylitalo had a hat trick and an assist, while Evan Hinnenkamp scored two goals as the Bison skated past the Jaguars on Tuesday.

STMA 7, Brainerd 2. James Anderson scored two goals for the Knights.

Litchfield DC 5, River Lakes 2. The Dragons exploded for three goals in the third period to defeat R Lakes on Tuesday. Kasey Melquist had two goals and an assist, while Carson Brummond added two goals for the Dragons.

Delano 6, Southwest Christian 0. Bryce Peterson and Brody Kangas each scored two goals in the Tigers shutout win.

Monticello 2, Pine City 0. The #3A ranked Moose got two goals from Nathan Poeppel and shut out the Dragons on Tuesday night.

Wrestling.

New London Spicer 39, Annandale/Maple Lake 33. The match between #9AA NLS and Ann/ML went down to the final match. Sophomore Ezra Manuel in only his second varsity match for the Lightning put up a good fight, and was leading 4-3 late in the second period, before he was pinned, giving the Wildcats the victory. Picking up the wins for Annandale/Maple Lake were, Cassen Brumm 121, Brayden Fobbe 127, Aiden Fitzgerald 133, Carter Courtright 152, Nick Olson 160 and Nate Klatt 215.

Monticello 74, North Branch 39. Five players scored in double figures for the Magic, led by Samantha Voll with 25.

Rockford 71, Howard Lake WW 37. Sienna Thomas (14 points) and Riley Freed (13 points) led the Rockets in scoring last night.

Monticello 98, North Branch 29. Braydon Dollard (30 points), and Jackson Soroko (22) combined for 52 points in the Magic blowout win over the Vikings.

Edina 7, Buffalo 1. Mason West, also a standout quarterback for the Hornets, scored two goals and added an assist in the Hornets win. Luke Berard scored the lone Bison goal.

Monticello 91, Rogers 69. Trevon Singer had a monster night scoring 51 points in the Magic win.

STMA 78, Eden Prairie 47. Four players scored in double figures, led by Jordan Holm as the Knights surged past the Eagles on Friday.

Annandale 72, Dassel-Cokato 57. Ben Walter scored 22 points and Gabe Westman scored 14, including a late dunk in the Cards road win. Caleb Smock led the Chargers with 22 points and five rebounds.

Annandale 55, Dassel-Cokato 42. The Cards got balanced scoring (Avery Gagnon 14, Bailey Broich 13, and Ally Purcell 12) in their road win over the Chargers.
