Wright County Commissioners met with state lawmakers from our region in recent days.
The County Board, along with County Attorney Brian Lutes met with State Representatives Joe McDonald of Delano, Marion Rarick of Maple Lake, Paul Novotny of Elk River, and Dawn Gillman of Dassel, and State Senators Michael Holmstrom of Buffalo and Eric Lucero of St. Michael to discuss legislative priorities for the 2026 Minnesota Legislative Session.
Many potential actions on the state level are likely to trickle down to the county level, and board members have indicated that they intend to stay in close contact with state lawmakers on issues as the session develops.
