The Wright County Extension Master Gardeners will host their annual “Spring Days” event Saturday.
Gardening enthusiasts from the region and around the state will gather at the Maple Lake High School to learn from experts about a wide variety of gardening topics.
This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Joe Storlien, who earned a Ph.D. In Soil Science from Texas A & M University, and is currently is an Associate Professor of Environmental Studies at the College of St. Benedict & St. John’s University.
U of M Extension Horticulturist Emily Lindenfelser says in addition to the keynote address, numerous speakers will give presentations on various topics during breakout sessions. She says there will also be plenty of time to visit various displays…
“We also have vendors from Wright County and other surrounding counties selling their products. We give out door prizes, and we also have a silent auction for people to look into too.”
Early registration for the event has passed, but you can register at the door Saturday. A 50-dollar admission fee covers breakfast, snacks, lunch, coffee and water, plus all the speaker sessions and the vendor fair.
Spring Days 2025 runs from 8 AM to 3:30 PM Saturday at the Maple Lake High School.
