The Wright County Compost & Recycling Center’s temporary location in Maple Lake has announced that it has added additional items that can be accepted.
The facility will now accept electronics and scrap metal. Some electronics may carry a disposal fee. (Click to connect to the fee schedule.) A re-use room has also been added for residents in need of paints, spray paint, stains, cleaners, and other free chemicals.
Items in the re-use room are on a first come, first served basis. The temporary facility will continue to accept household hazardous waste, curbside recycling, brush, grass and leaves.
The temporary Compost and Recycling Center is located at 5538 85th St. NW in Maple Lake. The facility has been established while renovations are made at the permanent Compost and Recycling facility off County Road 37 in Monticello Township.
