Wright County’s unemployment rate in April dropped a full point from the month before.
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development reports that Wright County’s seasonally-adjusted jobless rate in April was 3.1 percent, compared to 4.1 percent in March. The lower unemployment rate comes with a very small drop in the available labor force.
The new 3.1 percent rate in April compares to 2.8 percent unemployment during the same month a year ago.
Meanwhile, Minnesota’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in April was up a tenth of a point to 3.2 percent, and the seasonally adjusted U-S unemployment rate last month was 4.2 percent, unchanged from March.
