The Wright County Highway Department is advising motorists that County State Aid Highway 7 at Highway 24 in Clearwater will be closed in both directions beginning Monday. State Highway 24 itself will remain open in both directions, including the newly constructed roundabout.
County Road 7 traffic should follow the posted detour, or use an alternate route based on their destination. Motorists should plan for additional travel time and use caution when traveling through the construction zone.
During the expected 2 to 3 week closure, the contractor will complete the connection of CSAH 7 to the new roundabout at Highway 24. Once the work is completed, County Road 7 will re-open to traffic in both directions and will remain open through the winter season.
Construction activity on CSAH 7 will resume in 2027 to complete the remaining work on the project.
