Open enrollment is under way on the state-run MNsure health insurance portal.
Minnesotans needing health insurance for 2027 can now compare options and sign up. MNsure C-E-O Libby Caulum says every Minnesota county has at least two insurance companies offering plans, but most counties have three or four available…
“If you come to MNsure.org and use the shop-and-compare tool, you can get a free estimate.”
Caulum says simply enter where you live, who’s in your household and total household income. There’s also a statewide network of MNsure approved brokers to answer questions and help people decide which health insurance plan is best for them.
Minnesotans must enroll by December 15th to start coverage on January 1st. Coverage will begin next February 1st for those who enroll between December 16th and January 15th.
