Wright County is continuing along with the rest of the country to celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday this weekend. Today (Friday), two of Minnesota’s oldest and biggest 4th of July celebrations continue.
In Annandale today, fun at the carnival, bingo hosted by the Boy Scouts, sports tournaments, a pork chop dinner at the City Park Pavillion beginning at 5 PM, music in the park with the Annandale Community Band and Pie in the Park both starting at 7 PM, and the boat parade on Pleasant Lake are all a part of the Friday happenings. Events today in Delano for the 4th include a car and bike show, sports tournaments, the Market in the Park, bingo, a K-9 Unit demonstration, Martin Zellar’s tribute to Neil Diamond on the main stage at 6 PM, followed by the Jason Paulson Band are all a part of the days’s fun in Delano.
