Area Soldier Who Died in Kentucky Motorcycle Crash Welcomed Home With Motorcade Monday

A Wright County man who died in a motorcycle accident in Kentucky last week was welcomed home to Buffalo Monday evening with a special motorcade.

21-year-old Specialist E4 Hunter Sandberg died when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle during the evening hours on September 28th in Oak Grove, Kentucky.

Sandberg was serving with the U-S Army, and was stationed at nearby Fort Campbell.

The motorcade as it traveled along Highway 55.

Monday evening, representatives with the U-S Army Recruiters in Buffalo, members of the Buffalo American Legion, the Buffalo Police and Fire Departments, along with friends, and the general public lined a portion of Highway 55 in Buffalo, honoring the motorcade of vehicles as it made its way to the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.

Information about the services for Specialist Sandberg are expected to be released in the days ahead.
