The Buffalo Community Theater is celebrating 40 years of bringing live theater to the community.
This weekend marks a 40th Anniversary Reunion and performance of the very first BCT production, “There Goes the Old Ball Game.” The show is a burlesque melodrama complete with a villain, a damsel in distress, a hero, and assorted support characters. The production will feature several members of the original cast, including three former KRWC Radio “Community Bulletin Board” hosts, Marge Lundeen, Jenny Lundeen, and Sandy Haegele.
The community is invited to Sturges Park for lunch beginning at 1:30 PM. 10 dollars buys you a brat or hot dog, chips and a cookie with pop or water. You may also bring your own picnic lunch. Fun activities will be available before the show begins.
The performance will begin at 4 PM at the Sturges Park Bandshell.
