There are plenty of ways you can beat the heat this week…
“Stay cool. And so if you can, avoid being outside in the hottest parts of the day. Stay in an air-conditioned place. If you have to be outside, be very aware of those early signs of heat exhaustion. Stay hydrated.”
Minnesota Department of Health Dr. Nick Lehnertz says some of the early warning signs of heat exhaustion include headaches, nausea and extreme sweating. Remember that extended heat waves are the roughest on the very young and the elderly.
