Summer celebration fun continues today in Buffalo as Buffalo Days 2026 has some big Thursday events planned.
Buffalo Chamber of Commerce President Sue Olmscheid says many of the major anchors of the downtown events will be in their usual locations…
“The carnival and the food court will be in the usual locations down at Sturges Park. So the Kiddie Parade will meet up at the library, and the royalty will be there as well to walk the kiddos down, and they come down to Sturges Park and just get to have a photo-op and enjoy that a little bit. Then we have “Zootopia 2” as our Movie in the Park which will show at 9.”
A reminder that the Kiddie Parade begins at 6 PM, and admission for the Movie in the Park is free for all ages.
It’s also Family Fun Day today (Thursday), with Papa’s Camping Pit Stop food truck at the new Buffalo Community Center, along with live music from the Schultz Family and outdoor bingo.
The big events of the weekend are just around the corner, with fireworks over Buffalo Lake Friday night, and the Buffalo Days Parade Saturday evening. The Royalty Ambassador Coronation will mark the conclusion of Buffalo Days at 6 PM Sunday at the Buffalo High School Performing Arts Center.
