A Buffalo man was injured Tuesday afternoon in an SUV vs. bicycle crash in the City of Buffalo.
The State Patrol reports that just before 4 PM, a Jeep Cherokee was driving through the intersection of 3rd Avenue Northeast and Highway 55 at the same time that a bicycle was proceeding through the same intersection. The SUV and the bicycle collided at that location.
Officials say the bicyclist, 61-year-old Allen Wirgau of Buffalo sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was treated at Buffalo Hospital.
The driver of the Jeep SUV, 74-year-old Caroline Wait of Buffalo, was not injured.
The Buffalo Police and Fire Departments, the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, and Allina Ambulance assisted at the scene.
