CentraCare has announced 2024’s top baby names within their Minnesota hospitals.
St. Cloud Birth Center Director Jami Nordmann says…
“The top baby boy name was Liam, and the top baby girl name was Elanor. So, quite a few of those traditional names that you expect for this year, and there were a few of them we haven’t heard too frequently. This year’s top girl name, Elanor, wasn’t even in the top 10 in 2023, and Hazel isn’t in the top 10 for this year. So that was a surprising bit of news as well.”
Nordmann says as far as gender, it was almost an even split in 2024 with 51% of babies born being male, and 49% female.
