Residents of the City of Montrose are being notified of a change in the city’s garbage and recycling contractor.
The city says after reviewing proposals from four different haulers, Waste Management was selected to carry the new contract for services in Montrose.
Waste Management is expected to begin delivering new garbage and recycling carts beginning May 22nd.
Officials say there will be no change in the garbage and recycling collection day for Montrose residents.
Households are asked to put their current garbage and recycling rolling carts at curbside by May 29th. Republic Services is expected to pick up the old carts from May 29th to June 2nd.
