A woman from our region was injured Thursday in a three-vehicle traffic crash in neighboring Stearns County.
The State Patrol reports that around 12:45 PM Thursday, a Dodge mini-van was eastbound on Stearns Country Road 47 in St. Augusta while a Nissan SUV was southbound on State Highway 15. The vehicles collided at the intersection, and the impact from the crash pushed the vehicles into a secondary collision with a Mack straight truck.
The driver of the mini-van, 66-year-old Karen Pilarski of Clear Lake suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the St. Cloud Hospital.
The driver of the Nissan SUV, a 38-year-old man from Madison, Wisconsin, and the driver of the Mack truck, a 39-year-old man from Waite Park, were not injured.
The St. Augusta Fire Department, Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, and Mayo Ambulance assisted the State Patrol.
