Clinic Shooting Leads to Renewed Calls for Gun Control

The recent mass-shooting incident at the Allina Crossroads Clinic in Buffalo has gun-control advocates urging state and federal lawmakers to revive bills they believe could help prevent such incidents in the future.

Though reaction in the Minnesota Legislature has been limited regarding gun-control measures following last week’s violent incident in Buffalo, there has been some talk emphasizing re-examining potentially stricter background checks for gun purchases.
