The Wright County Highway Department says road construction contractors plan to re-open County Highways 37 and 137 in the Otsego and Albertville area today.
Officials say The I-94 ramps, and 62nd Street are also on the list for routes to be re-opened to traffic, along with the lifting of all detours.
This is the second season of construction in the area, and the opening of the roadways comes after months of closures this year. Work on phase two of the project began back in April.
Drivers are asked to use caution, as the area will remain an active work zone through late fall while contractors work behind the curb line and complete site restoration. Residents and visitors are also reminded that portions of the trail and sidewalk will remain closed to pedestrian traffic while crew members finish constructing the trail and its connections across the bridge. Updates on the project will be posted online as needed.
