Officials with the Wright County Highway Department have announced that the CSAH 18 (50th Street) project next to St. Michael-Albertville Middle School West has been completed and is open to traffic for parent drop-off and pick-up.
The announcement is good news for those who have patiently dealt with numerous road construction projects throughout the summer.
Motorists are asked to remember that at the STMA Middle School West, parents will still access the west entrance, which is now a three-quarters intersection. Drivers may turn in from the east and west, but will need to make a right when exiting the property. For those driving west toward CSAH 19, make a U-turn at the roundabout and proceed.
Highway officials remind all motorists to be sure to yield to pedestrians at all crosswalks.
