Railroad crossing work will force the closure of County State Aid Highway 5 for much of this week.
CP Railroad recently notified the Wright County Highway Department that CSAH 5 will be closed at the railroad crossing south of Highway 55 in the City of Annandale beginning Tuesday, May 5th in order to update the existing gate arm system.
Officials say the closure will continue through at least Friday, weather permitting.
No detour will be posted. Motorists are asked to plan ahead for an alternate route.
