The Wright County Highway Department is reminding motorists of a road closure in our region that is scheduled to begin today (Monday).
Officials say temporary storm sewer work will force the closure of County State Aid Highway 7 at State Highway 24, but traffic north and southbound along Highway 24 will be maintained throughout the duration of the project. All other traffic should follow the posted detour, or use an alternate route depending on the destination.
Motorists are asked to allow additional time and use caution through the work zone and along the detour.
Officials say the road closure is expected to last 2 weeks, weather permitting.
